Kasab's execution is becoming hot subject.
We are Indians . We are well known for our soft minds that work in both softwares and in real life as a Nation.
Is executing Kasab will solve problem of terrorism in India?
NO.
No deterrent will be placed to terrorists if Kasab is hanged .On other hand , kasab will get rank of martyr. But we cant spare him with simple life imprisonment and a chance to escape like kandahar epicode.
Then , what to do?
The solution comes to my mind is that to offer him a escape from life sentence at a price of his own fundamentals. Only thing Kasab can give India is to falsify theory of so called jihad against india.
Yes. He can do this.
We can ask him to pray to President that he has came to know falsehood , cruelity and madness of so called Jihad . He can write to President that he was a gullible young man who falls prey to brainwashing in pakistan.He can claim his doing was not islamic,further anti-islamic. He can also seek apology from president for his killings of innocent people.
He should do this on his own. No advocate is needed to be there on his side.
The world should know that Indian judiciary can made even terrorists bow before them.
The world , particularly islamic world should know , that," Jihad is not good idea. Jihad against India is anti islamic."
That will work. There are numorous ways to get it done. World should know soft power of India that can transform even extremists .
Further kasab can be throne to life inprisonment.No terrorist will try to free him if he falls before president like this.
The war we are in is not against RDX or terrorists or pak.
We are in War with a Thinking and ideology .
That thinking is not only wrong ,but also hazardous . What make our own muslim brothers to go pak and get terror training? Its so called islamic jihad . It is ideology that we are finding our own people against us.
Then if we are in war with ideology , how can we fight them? With bomb detectors, CCTVs or a professional anti ideology policy and behavior of state and people that can simplify things .
We should encourage our islamic leaders and mullahs to protest against terrorists, urge them to throw & boycott terrorists from the community and if possible from the religion itself. Islam is not for terrorists and terrorists are not for islam, this thinking should be pressed by the community itself. It is burden on Government as well as political parties and most importantly on Media.
Media can play a large role in this.
It is said that prevention is better than cure. Hence , we should prevent terrorists to become. Then no pak or taliban or lashkar can threat us.
